Biography

Mon-Yen Luo received a B.S. degree in Physics from the National Sun Yat-Sen University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Republic of China in 1995, and a M.S. degree in Computer Science from the Institute of Computer and Information Engineering at National Sun Yat-Sen University in 1997, and a Ph.D. in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at National Sun Yat-Sen University, in 2002. His research interests are in the areas of computer network, Internet technology, distributed system, network/system management, and WWW. He is a member of ACM, IEEE computer Society, and USENIX.
He had also been a professional musician for 8 years. He play keyboard, drum, and bass. He had played with several great professional bands. He had also been an instructor in YAMAHA music school for 7 years.
